Rather than subject any horse to the stress of moving multiple times, we try and work with current owners trying to rehome their horses and keep the horses HOME until a new home is found and home safety check and background check have been performed.
We strive ourselves on thoroughly conducting background and home checks. Casa Ventosa Rescue maintains brands on ALL our adopted horses, and they are co-signed to the adopter. This adds a valuable layer of protection for our equines to make sure they never wind up in a kill pen or auction circuit. This is non-negotiable.
Fees for adopting horses vary by horse, training, special needs, etc. They can be made via PayPal, cashiers check or cash prior to the delivery of your new family member.
